Buddy Icons (48x48)
PC Download Instructions
1. View the buddy icons shown above. Click on the buddy icon you would like to use.
2. If you are using anything other than Internet Explorer as your web browser, a dialogue box may appear on your screen giving you the option to launch the AOL Instant messenger application. If this dialogue box appears, click "Launch application".
3. If AOL Instant Messenger is not already running on your PC, the application will launch and present you with an alert box on your screen, which asks, "Are you sure you want to change your buddy icon...?"
4. If you would like to make the buddy icon you selected your new buddy icon, click "Yes", otherwise click "No".
5. If you choose "Yes", you will be presented with an AOL Instant Messenger "Settings-Expressions" dialogue box. Choose any additional preferred settings and click "Save".
Mac Download Instructions
1. Right-click or Ctrl-click on the image you would like to use.
2. Select "Save Image As..."
3. In your chat program, browse to the image you saved when selecting a new avatar.
