  • What if I can't find what I'm looking for on WebVet?

    If you've searched the site and can't find the information you need, please submit a request for information to info@webvet.com. Our goal is to provide you with the most comprehensive resources possible. However, if something is important to you and is not addressed on the site, please let us know and we'll do our best to remedy this as quickly as possible. In the meantime, if you believe the health of your pet is at risk, please contact your vet immediately.

    If you are looking for specific information about an article, such as the results of a scientific study, please contact the source directly. All sources are either included in the context of the article or are listed at the end.

    If there are other topics related to a particular article that you'd like to see more information on, please e-mail us at content@webvet.comand let us know. We'll do our best to either source or create original content to address your needs. Please know that this may take some time as we get numerous requests for new content on a daily basis.

    There are multiple ways you, as a pet lover, can contribute to WebVet. Please visit our Forums section and either participate in an existing discussion or community or start your own forum by submitting your idea and content to forums@webvet.com. Assuming it meets our Editorial Guidelines, we will post your comments within 72 hours.

  • What if I disagree with an article you wrote or published?

    An important part of WebVet's charter is to provide news, information and fact-based education that is unbiased and not editorialized. However, many of our articles include interviews with, or are authored by, vets and other industry specialists who will express thoughts and opinions based on their training and specific areas of expertise. We reference these experts in hopes of providing you with the most current, factual and trusted information available.

  • May I contact one of your authors and, if so, how?

    Original WebVet content that is medical in nature is reviewed by a member of our Veterinary Advisory Council (VAC) prior to publishing. The author is listed at the top of the article and the reviewing vet is listed at the end.

    WebVet values the privacy of its members, as well as its employees and contributors. It is our policy not to release personal information about any individuals involved in the development of our content, other than the names of the author and reviewer.

    If you are looking for additional content related to the subject matter of an article, please either contact the source(s) listed in the article or send a request to content@webvet.com.

    All the news, information and activities provided by WebVet are FREE. You may use our site at your discretion whether you are a registered or unregistered user.

    The benefit of registering as a user is that you will enjoy a more customized experience when you visit WebVet.

    • You will be able to sign up for our newsletter
    • You may profile your pet(s) and set preferences as to the type of information you'd like to see first on the site

    WebVet is not in the business of diagnosing health conditions or offering suggestions for treatment. Our mission is to help you find the health and wellness information you need to be better educated and better prepared when you meet with your vet.
