Study finds dogs can experience jealousy

Dec. 15, 2008 -- A new study has found that dogs are capable of experiencing human emotions including jealousy and pride. Noting that some dogs seem to dislike when their owners show affection to other dogs, or when a new baby enters the picture, researchers at the University of Vienna in Austria tested the theory and concluded that dogs do indeed experience jealously.
