Welcome, Guest!

After nearly 30 years of friendship, founders Hope Schultz and Bill Zaccheo discovered a way to channel their passion for pets through their mutual appetite for entrepreneurship.

By talking to pet owners, they learned that while the Internet currently provides access to social networking, symptom searches and information on illnesses, there was something missing. That something is WebVet, an interactive and comprehensive “whole-pet” platform that addresses both the physical and emotional needs of pets.

WebVet redefines how pet owners approach the care of their animals by bringing together, in one trusted place, everything from medical information and advancements, to original lifestyle and human interest stories, to breaking news and general wellness information. Additionally, WebVet delivers a unique neutral platform through its diversity of partnerships, award-winning and highly respected writers, and an annual review of all content by some of the nation’s most respected veterinarians. And our proprietary research ensures we’re always on the forefront of pet owners’ attitudes toward their relationships with their pets and industry trends.

WebVet does not diagnose, suggest treatment or editorialize but rather provides news, information and fact-based education to pet owners. WebVet strongly encourages all pet owners to consult with their veterinarians on the best course of action for their individual pet.

Beyond connecting pet lovers with important information relative to the health and well-being of their pets, WebVet connects them with one another. Community is important, and WebVet has created many ways by which pet enthusiasts can interact with the site and each other.

We welcome you and your pets to WebVet and hope you find everything you need to be the best pet parent possible.

Warm regards,
The WebVet Team
