Mugly is actually a veteran of sorts, having been named Britain's ugliest dog in 2005.
The eight-year-old pooch follows in the footsteps of many other Chinese cresteds who have taken the title before him. The breed is known for being mostly hairless, with solid or spotted skin and sparse hair on its feet, tail and head.
Mugly's owner told her local newspaper, the Peterborough Telegraph, "I think that he is the most beautiful dog from the inside out and want the world to know that too. He will be flying the flag for all British doggies that are challenged in the beauty department."
