Dog books are hot right now. Our four-legged friends are getting the credit they deserve as loyal companions and fearless protectors -- but don't you ever want to hear their side of the story?

We'd love to get inside the heads of these celebrity pets:

Bo Obama: While a memoir from Bill Clinton's cat Socks would have offered a fascinating contrast of a family's life before and during their White House stay, it'd still be fun to see the presidential manor through Bo's fresh, puppy eyes. The sequel, Life After the White House will probably be a bit more jaded. Do you think that will be out in 2012 or 2016?

Norman Aniston: Hopefully Jennifer Aniston's Welsh corgi-terrier mix left diaries when he passed away in early 2011, because he is the only one who really  knew how that Brad Pitt divorce went down.

Iggy nee DeGeneres: Come on, you remember Iggy -- he's the one that turned Ellen DeGeneres into a blubbering mess on national television. In case you need a refresher, Ellen adopted the pup from a shelter, but gifted him to her hairdresser's daughters because he couldn't co-exist with her cats. The adoption agency then yanked Iggy from his new family, claiming the TV host had violated the terms of  their agreement. Despite her emotional public plea, Iggy was placed with a new family and probably has a new name and no recollection of Iggy-gate. So we'll need some hypnosis to unlock those repressed memories before he begins writing.

Tinkerbell Hilton: If there's an audience who wants to hear from Paris, presumably there are (the same) people who want to hear from her accessor -- we mean Chihuahua. We'd like to think his memoir would be a scathing attack on his vapid companion, but if that's all he's ever known...well, it's a pretty Simple Life.

Anna Faris's Cat: Well, technically he's not her cat anymore because the actress's husband Chris Pratt gave him away, sparking a major backlash against the Parks and Recreation star. He offered up a reason -- he couldn't start a family with the defecating furball all up in his business -- and received death threats in return. Who says dog lovers are more passionate than cat people?

Giant George: You've definitely seen this 245-pound, 7-foot long Great Dane in the news -- he's the world's tallest dog! But wait, he already wrote a book . . . and it's great.  Giant George: Life with the World’s Biggest Dog, check it out!
