The British government has released a pet "code of practice" for cat and dog owners that includes advice about "entertainment" and "mental stimulation" for pets. The document was released by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and reminds pet owners of their responsibilities under the 2006 Animal Welfare Act. Owners won't be fined for breaking the rules, but failure to comply may be used in animal cruelty prosecutions. Click here for the full story.
